The second graders are busily preparing for our musical performance, "Second Grade Sightseers"! We are working closely with our music teachers, Mrs. Bordonaro and Mrs. Burk to make sure all the kids are ready for our big performances.
A bright green flyer will go home with your second grader today, reviewing important information about the musical.
Here are the details:
We have performances on Wednesday, May 6th at 10:30 AM (a dress rehearsal), and 2:30 and 6:30 PM on Thursday, May 7th.
EACH SECOND GRADE CLASS HAS THEIR OWN COLOR OF TIE-DYED SHIRTS...PLEASE REMIND YOUR PERFORMER TO WEAR/BRING HIS OR SHIRT ON PERFORMANCE DAYS. THANK YOU!
For our evening performance on Thursday, May 7th, the building doors will open at 6:00 PM. Second graders should go directly to their classrooms (no later than 6:15), and friends and family should go find seats in the gym. We (the classroom teachers) will be in our rooms to monitor the children and get them lined up for the performance.
Following the performance, all second graders will return to their classrooms. You will be able to pick up your child from his or her classroom.
We look forward to seeing you at the performance!
